When I took Robbie to Dinosaur Valley State Park he was shocked at how exposed the tracks were. These ancient imprints which seem like something out of a museum are unprotected and available to anyone who wants to wade into the Paluxy River.
Whats fascinating is that a replica of these exact tracks is on display in the National Museum of Natural History in New York City — only those tracks are off limits and on display only.

My hometown is the dinosaur capital of Texas, swaths of tourist come to see my town and walk in actual dino footprints. Over the weekend a local news anchor visited and documented his adorable daughter’s experience.
